Your data foundation should have data that is clean, complete, and accessible to a system that needs to act on it in real time. Not just by a human analyst with the patience to work around its gaps. How to Stop Repeating It
The single most important thing a team can do is pause before the build and measure where they stand.
Data teams need a structured, honest diagnostic that looks at the data foundation, system connectivity, pipeline reliability, governance maturity, and ownership models. Not a gut-feel check-in or a five-minute conversation with the IT lead.
